The Selected candidate will be responsible for the projects contracts and will perform a technical organizational and supervisory role.

He will be responsible for marking out the site applying designs and plans and liaising with sub contractors.

He will work as part of the site management team sharing responsibility for site security health and safety and the organization and supervision of material and human resources.

Skills

bull Relevant degree qualification BSc Civil Engineering and MBA or Masters in Project Management or equivalent

bull 15 years of professional experience in the international market

bull Strong written and spoken English amp Arabic

bull Ability to monitor and review the asbuilt drawing process

bull Team player but also able to work on own initiative

bull Excellent negotiation skills amp decisionmaker

bull Strong selfmanagement skills to ensure timely issue of project deliverables.


Primary Responsibility


1. Projects



bull Run the project on a daytoday basis including supervising and monitoring the site labor force and monitoring the work of any subcontractors

bull Intimately understand the requirements of the project and ensure that work proceeds onspec

bull Coordinate designers coders service providers and clients

bull Checking drawings and quantities and ensuring that the calculations are accurate for the work

bull Overseeing the selection and requisition of materials and plant for use in the construction

bull Agreeing a price for materials and making costeffective solutions and proposals for the intended project

bull Planning the work and efficiently organizing the site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines

bull Liaising with any consultants subcontractors supervisors planners quantity surveyors and the general workforce involved in the project

bull Liaising with clients and their representatives architects engineers and surveyors including attending regular meetings to keep them informed of progress

bull Writing detailed reports

bull Overseeing quality control and safety matters on the site and ensuring that regulations are adhered to

bull Resolving any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.

bull Ensure client expectations are met and exceeded in terms of quality of product and service delivered

bull constantly monitor and report on the progress of a project to all stakeholders

bull Track and report team hours and file expenses reports

bull Analyze project profitability

bull Conduct performance evaluations

bull Create maintain and constantly look to improve production processes


2. Contracts



bull Manages a variety of commercial contracts and subcontracts in accordance with company policies and procedures applicable laws and customer requirements.

bull Identifies risks and issues suggests alternatives that lead to the best solution.

bull Reviews and manages contractual obligations of the parties and provides continual review to ensure that all terms and conditions are met.

bull Responsible for implementation of project amp contract management processes.

bull Provides onsite advice to business units and project teams on contract management and policy compliance matters.

bull Acts as the primary contact between the project team andor business unit and Legal ensuring that all legal and contractual matters are addressed efficiently and promptly.

bull Ensures that assigned personnel adhere to company policies and procedures.

bull Informs the project team of the requirements of the contract and monitoring compliance.
