Interview in Dubai 23Nov to 27Nov For the post of Engineer Process Reverse Osmosis
Monitor and test performance of equipments and auxiliaries in the water area to ensure proper operation and compliance with established parameters in order to deliver uninterrupted service and product to the customer.
The position reports to the Lead Engineer Process. The jobholder is responsible to monitor and testperformance of equipment and auxiliaries in the water area to ensure proper operations and compliance with established parameters for delivering uninterrupted service to the customers. The job holder is challenged to stay abreast of developments and innovations in the field determine what is suitable for deployment in the company and raise appropriate recommendations.The jobholder is exposed to normal plant conditions fumes heat noise high voltage high speed rotating equipment etc.
Skills•Attend daily meeting with operations and maintenance to review status of plant over the past 24hours and learn what is planned for the day.
•Tour the plant water area to observe operations check for abnormal situations and take readings of main parameters and collect data form control room and field operators for analysis and review.
•Review Laboratory reports follow up on reported deviations to ensure they were corrected.
•Review notifications raised by operations and maintenance to determine whether or not all the recommended notifications have been raised
•Monitor and test water area equipment chemical reagents fuel oils etc. to ensure compliance with established specifications as and when required.
•Review requests for modification and upgrading of equipment discuss with originator to determine whether the modification is really needed and the expected improvement following such action if feasible suggest alternative solution to the issue and secure originator’s agreement refer recommendation to supervisor for further evaluation approval and subsequently follow up on implementation to ensure compliance with specified parameters.
•Study equipment incident reports and participate in investigations to determine causes of the incident and recommend appropriate corrective and future preventive actions.
•Participate in witnessing commissioning of newly installed equipment as requested to ascertain that the equipment and auxiliaries are in compliance with specifications.
•Recommend improvements to departmental procedure and direct the implementation of instructions and controls covering a specific area of Process Engineering activity so that all relevant procedurallegislative requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality costeffective service to customers.
•Ensure compliance to all relevant safety quality and environmental management procedures and controls within a defined area of Process Engineering activity to guarantee employee safety legislative compliance delivery of high quality productsservice and a responsible environmental attitude.
Minimum Qualifications
University degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering.
Minimum Experience
710 years’ mechanical or process engineering in a heavy industrial or utilities environment.
Experience of managingcosting projects involving external contractors.
1 2 years’ project costing experience involving the use of relevant software.
Experience of technical evaluation of design options.
Education
University degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering
