Product Manager
To manage the overall “product management” function of the agrifilm product line with focus on sustained and profitable growth of the product focused on maximising business value. The Product Manager is responsible for ensuring that new products and services introduced into local and global markets are successful and have longterm viability. To ensure this success the product manager is to identify key local and global markets that are ideal for product penetration. They then oversee the entire product introduction process from identifying key products that meet consumers\' needs in a particular market to making any revisions after a product or service is introduced. Other responsibilities include monitoring market trends tracking competitors\' products and putting strategies in place to promote the growth of certain products.
The Product Manager is responsible for product planning strategy marketing and customer retention. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements defining the product vision and working closely with production to deliver winning products.
This extends form increasing the profitability of existing products to continuously developing new products which will be based on industry experience commercial and technical and contacts with customers and prospects. As a key success factor the product manager must possess a unique blend of business and technical savvy.
In addition the product manager will be communicating with all areas of the company sales production marketing communication supply chain i.e. coordinate with the production manager for new product requirements He will be working with sales to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the company’s overall strategy and goals.
On the other hand the product manager will be spending time in the market to understand trends and customer challenges and find innovative solutions for the market. He should gain a deep understanding of customer experience identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share improve customer experience and drive growth and profitability.
Skills Solid technical background with understanding andor handson experience in agrifilm green house film additives master batch.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Product Manager preferably 2 years of experience in the Saudi market.
Proven ability to develop product and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product throughout its lifecycle.
Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products must provide sample of an effective document delivered in the past
Must be able to travel 30 of the time This position requires travel to customer and noncustomer sites
Bilingual Arabic English
Working Knowledge of CRM product management software.
