Ultrasound Specialist
1.To carry out Routine exam Portable Operating theatre Accident emergency works that might be perform by the department.
2.Take all necessary studies and special views requested by PhysiciansRadiologist.
3.Uses collimation and lead shields with appropriate with consideration of age gender as needed and completely uses techniques of radiation safety and protection at all times.
4. Assisting Radiologist to perform special procedures specialized in performing good quality of diagnostic radiography for diagnosis.
5.Responsible for giving instructions of the procedure to prepare the patient physically and emotionally before proceeding.
6.Awareness of examination to be performed relating to correct patient.
7.Demonstrate respect for patient modesty and confidentiality of finding at all times.
8.Carry out responsibilities as per Radiology Departmenlt Policy and Procedure.
9.Enhances professional growth through continuous education.
10.Performs quality improvement and ensures preventive maintenance.
11.Monitors patients who are ventilated sedated and given contrast media.
12.Monitors data for analysis for resource management.
13.Performs other applicable tasks and duties assigned within the realm of the employee\'s knowledge skills and abilities.

SkillsQualifications and experiences
Bachelor\'s degree in applied medical sciences one year internship or one year experience in the specialty
MSc degree in before acquiring the required experiences for classification into senior specialist rank

7.Observes and upholds the patients\' rights of security confidentiality and privacy.
8.Supervision of duties of assigned junior staff.
9.Active participation in Continued Medical Education C.M.E. through educational hospital activities. Also through National and International meetings conferences and symposia.
10.Active participation in training program related to his field and organization within the hospital for training of junior medical staff and inservice training for nursing staff and technicians.
11.Continuous update of his knowledge in the medical field as well as continuously upgrading level of skill in hisher field of profession.

Or
Obtaining six years’ experience in the subspecialty in a specialized unit in an accredited center after being qualified in a general specialty.
