Primary Objective

Responsible for operating successful pharmacy replenishment activities managementnbsp

of company inventory levels and supplier relationships. The development of suppliernbsp

relationships involving managing negotiations supplier and item profitability servicenbsp

level product availability long term forecasting and product return.nbsp

Major Responsibilities and Duties

bull Meet and exceed defined service levels and execution metrics that influencenbsp

targeted financial goals.nbsp



bull Develop and manage annual budget for warehouse and all stores inventory budgets.

bull Provide strategic and day to day management of all buying activities to maximizenbsp

warehouse customer service levels.nbsp

bull Confer and negotiate with vendors price specifications product informationnbsp

availability deliveries services and other related matters. Analyze and providenbsp

direction to awards of bids.

bull Prepare purchasing requisitions approve and issue purchase orders in accordancenbsp

with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions. Manage all aspects ofnbsp

purchasing activities.

bull Builds strong working relationships with internal stakeholders by serving as annbsp

inventory advocate for pharmacy.

bull Develop and execute pharmacy inventory strategies and tactics with an emphasisnbsp

on growing profitability in this segment of Company business.

bull Ensure purchasing warehouse and other assigned functions comply withnbsp

established standards requirements laws codes regulations policies andnbsp

procedures.

bull Demonstrate strategic leadership strong management and exceptionalnbsp

interpersonalcommunication skills.

bull Work with corporate pharmacy and store pharmacy operations to execute andnbsp

achieve all assigned financial goals operational and service metrics. This includesnbsp

labor sales script count inventory turns and management and customer servicenbsp

metrics.

bull Provide strategic input regarding the direction of pharmacy solutions both short termnbsp

and long term that may enhance the pharmacy operations at the Company.
