Health Safety and Environment Supervisor HSE Supervisor
1.0 Job Purpose
Administer and maintain the Health Safety and Environment Management System for the zone in accordance with company and local policies and regulations in order to safeguard life health and property and promote best work practices.
2.0 Job Responsibilities
1. Implement and evaluate effective HSE plans in agreement with Quality Assurance Manager.2. Increase HSE awareness by conducting formal and informal information sessions to foster understanding of safe and healthy work behaviors among all employees.3. Monitor conformance to HSE standards by running regular inspection and audit visits to facilities of the zone and facilitate corrective actions against nonconformance.4. Assist with all HSE training activities in coordination with HR amp Administration Department to raise professional awareness levels of best HSE practices.5. Develop and prepare a sound safety program applicable to the facility in BRZ and implement the programs.6. Instruct and disseminate OHSAS Occupational Health amp Safety System information to all personnel in TUSDEER including all clients and contractors to have full coverage of the safety program.7. Control and monitor the Fire Fighting Sprinkler Hose and Fire Extinguishers maintenance contractor to ensure that all equipment materials and tools are operational.8. Identify best safety practices and incorporate these best practices into the company standards to continuously improve company safety procedures and policies.9. Measure site performance against published safety requirements and policies and for any deficiencies to conduct planning for the identified unsafe site to implement or upgrade safety procedures and rectify all identified deficiencies.10. Assist in mitigation of hazardous materials placements and incidents in warehouses and open areas.
