Academic Technician Quality Assessment Curriculum
Our client a world leader in the educational field is seeking an experienced Academic Technician for a new College of Excellence in Saudi Arabia. Colleges of Excellence CoE has been given the authority to lead the development of the Technical and Vocational training in KSA. The goal of CoE is to improve the quality of TVET graduates and to increase the capacity of the system to serve the increasing demand by the labour market. As Academic Technician you will be primarily responsible for assisting in conducting a needs analysis creating recommendations and offering concurrent professional development to selected personnel in a group of colleges under the Colleges of Excellence headquarters in Riyadh. You will be stationed in the CoE HQ and will travel to colleges within your group to carry out the aforementioned work. Start date for this role is December 2014 or early January 2015.

Your core responsibilities will involve
Reporting to and taking direction from your assigned Lead in one of the three specialization areas Curriculum QA and or assessment
Ensure your conduct of the needs analysis within the colleges are conducted to the highest industry standards in terms of integrity accuracy and depth
Comply with all safety and security directives issued from the Lead for any college visits
Maintain a high level of professionalism and cultural awareness at all times during your work within the colleges and at CoE HQ
Accept direction and seek guidance from the Lead whenever needed or given
Present findings and reports from the colleges to the Lead in a timely manner and with a high level of clarity and accuracy
Deliver professional development sessions to identified personnel within colleges as directed and according to the framework indicated by the Lead
Any other duties required from time to time by the Lead

Excellent interpersonal written and verbal communication skills including a strong grasp of formal writing for reportsofficial correspondence
Excellent IT skills including MS Excel and Word
Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
The ability to analyse data and present results clearly
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Willingness to work flexibly and to tight deadlines when necessary
Excellent attention to detail and experience of working with a high degree of accuracy
Ability to take direction and successfully complete the task independently or with minimal guidance

Main areas of responsibility
Ensure compensation and benefits standards comply with company policies andor other regulations or legislation.
Analyse review recommend and obtain approval for changes to compensation and benefits at the country level.
Assist in development of home country policies and procedures to support the compensation and benefits function.
Participate in market and salary surveys.
Assist in job evaluations and the annual merit process as required.
Help prepare government filings plan audits or other taxreporting requirements.
Ensure compliance with Data Privacy and Protection Guidelines
Monitor reviews of compensation and benefits packages to maintain market positioning.
Answer employee queries on compensation and benefit matters.
Coach and assist in development of new team members.
