Store Manager
To be fully accountable for the stores profit plan and operation throughleading the team to deliver sales margin payroll costs and excellentcustomer service and retail standards. Underpinning this is the ability topromote company values lead the team to live them and exceed individual andstores KPI’s. Ensure compliance with all the policies and procedures are metaccordingly within the company’s procedures.
KeyResponsibilities
People
Lead by example whilst promoting and setting standards which meet Rubaiyat values and guiding principles.
To develop and maintain Rubaiyat culture in line with values.
To support the organization plans for succession with focus on career progression and coaching.
Responsible for the assessment and recruitment of high caliber teams working closely with regional managers and personnel HR.
To induct and manage the performance of all new starters ensuring they are fully supported to deliver.
To develop a strong and supportive team dynamic and build morale.
To ensure the performance of the team exceed expectations through setting and communicating standards and giving regular feedback and support.
Seek to continuously raise the benchmark and improve standards through ongoing development coaching and performance management of the team.
To monitor and appraise sales team performance and feedback on recommendation of corrective or disciplinary action as appropriate if required.
To proactively implement actions following debriefs meetings with senior team members.
To organize effective rotas ensuring the right person in the right place at the right time and communicate these to the team in advance.
Monitor and apprise sales tem performance and recommendation of corrective or disciplinary action as appropriate if required.
To promote attendance through monitoring key information and following up as appropriate.
To conduct disciplinary procedures as appropriate with the assistance of personnel HR.
Store presentation maintenance standards hygiene health and safety etc.
SkillsMinimum of 3 years in a retail environment at least 1 of which as a manager
Ability to manage and lead teams
Previous experience in a fast pace dynamic high sales volume business
Good understanding and evidence of retail standards
Great commercial focus
Great empathy with people
Real desire to give worldclass customer service
Role models company values and principles
Handson management style
Ability to plan prioritize and deliver on time
Knowledge of Gulf markets helpful.
Excellent English Verbal Written.

Speak and write English fluently.Desirable skills
TCPIP VLANs Switching Routing LAN and WAN technologies.
Experience in VPNs Routers Firewalls Cisco PIX firewalls Juniper Netscreen DNS DHCP.
CCNA certified.
